School History

Pat Smith School of Dance was established in 1973 in the home as a part time business while raising a family. In 1987 the dance room was expanded and a floating wood floor added. The school has highly qualified degreed instructors teaching ballet, point, modern, jazz, tap, ballroom, yoga and combination classes. Classes are kept small and personal. Students in uniform dance attire learn excellent technique, with a strong emphasis on classical ballet and jazz, dance class etiquette, and age appropriate choreography.
